My Thoughts
When it came to teething pain it was hard to know what to do. Neither of my kiddos liked the regular Orajel Teething Gel. The numbing freaked them out I think. I didn't want to give Tylenol all the time. I did try clove oil and that did help...some. So when I saw this new product, I jumped on the chance to try it. I tried the Gel myself and it does not cause any actual numbing, which I think is the reason my son likes this. It definitely has helped him sleep better through the night. And appears to offer the relief he needs. I also like the Tooth & Gum Cleanser. It is good for training him to brush his teeth. Safe and efficient at cleaning his teeth and gums. I am confident that he is building a good foundation for a healthy habit. The finger brush is ok. It fits my finger, but unfortunately, it is much too small for my husband to use efficiently. We resorted to just using a baby toothbrush. The Gel (and I think the cleanser too because it smells the same) has a faint hint of banana flavor and my son appears to like the taste. He does not fight me when applying the Gel or with brushing his teeth. My son is 2 and currently getting his molars. My other son is no longer teething.
